According to the information of Human Rights of kurdistan Iran Wednesday, March 17, 2021; Yesterday, a kolbar named “Beston Mohammadpour” was severely wounded after a Border Regiment shot at a group of kolbars in the border areas of Chuman.
According to an informed source, “Biston was seriously injured in the hand and was taken to a hospital in Tabriz for treatment, and our news source adds that he has undergone surgery and is scheduled to undergo another operation tomorrow.”
Also on Tuesday, March 16th, in the border areas of Baneh, a kolbar named “Salam Malta” was severely wounded.
It is worth mentioning that these two kolbars were taken to medical centers due to the severity of their injuries.
Human rights groups have described direct and unannounced firing on kolbars as “inhumane” and have strongly criticized such actions by Islamic Republic military and law enforcement officials.
According to the human rights statistics of Iranian Kurdistan, from the beginning of 2021 until now, 27 kolbar have been injured and 20 kolbar/businessmen have been killed a result of shootings and natural disasters. Due to its limited volume and the fact that independent human rights groups are not allowed to operate in Iran, this report cannot fully reflect the human rights situation, the deaths and injuries of kolbars in Iran.
