Following the shooting of a group of kolbars in the border areas of Nowsud, a kolbar was wounded by the firing of the border regiment of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the report received to Human rights of Kurdistan Iran, Sunday, March 21, 2021; a kolbar named Behrouz Moradi, resident of salas babajani was injured.
Behrouz Moradi was injured while going to carrying smuggle goods. He was injured without any warning.
“He was wounded without a bag and with a shotgun,” an informed source told our reporter.
Human rights groups have described direct and unannounced firing on kolbars as “inhumane” and have strongly criticized such actions by Islamic Republic forces and law enforcement officials.
According to the human rights statistics of Iranian Kurdistan, from the beginning of 2021 until now, 28 kolbars was injured and 20 kolbar/businessmen have been killed due to shootings and natural disasters. Due to its limited volume and the fact that independent human rights groups are not allowed to operate in Iran, this report cannot fully reflect the human rights situation, the deaths and injuries of kolbars in Iran.
