According to Human Rights of Kurdistan of Iran; Tuesday, 2019 June 25; In the evening of the current day, the Border Guard Regiment, located in the border areas of Baneh, opened fire on a group of kolbers on suspicion of carrying smuggled goods and a kolber named “Hemn Salehpour”, 21 years old, son of Salim, resident of a village of Baneh (Alut), was killed by the direct shootings in border.
An informed source confirmed this report and said: « When we returned with a group of kolbers, in the border areas of Baneh, the border regiment opened fire on us without any warning and eventually he got killed by the direct fire of the border regiment. »
It should be noted that, last week, the commander of the border guards, “Qasem Rezaei”, again threated to kill the kolbers. On Monday, 2019 June 10, he participated in the implementation of the border obstruction project at the opening of a new border checkpoint called “Mileh 18 Abyek” on the border between Iran and Turkey.
