A look at the human rights of Iranian Kurdistan; Friday, 2019 June 7, “Danyal Azizi” the current day, lost his leg during working in the Kanizard mountains of Sardasht in aftermath of blasting mines newly planted on the path of kolbers.
According to the A look at the human rights of Iranian Kurdistan’s report; On the current day, a 25 years old kolber, “Danyal Azizi” from Rabat, lost his leg during working after a mine explosion in the border of Sardasht in Kanizard highlands.
An informed source said: «« We were crossing border areas to Kanizard that Suddenly we saw an enormous explosion that attracted the attention of all the other kolbers and when we came to the scene, we discovered that one of the kolbers was severely injured by the mine explosion and immediately, with the help of other kolbers, transferred him to a hospital in Sardasht »».
“Danyal Azizi”, a well-known athlete, became a kolber for reasons of financial problems and spending on sports.
It should be said that, the exploded mine had been planted by the Revolutionary Guards recently and in a number of cases, the Islamic Republic’s courts issued a compensation for exploded mines to be paid by kolbers.
Since kolbers have been described as “smugglers” and “anti-security mafia”, the deployed forces at the borders are more likely to shoot the kolbers, for that, Kolbers choose paths that have been warzone before to be secure from the shooting of the forces.
It is worth mentioning that, at a news conference in Kurdistan province, Iran’s border guard commander “Qasem Rezaei” confirmed the shootings to kolbers and defended the move. He called kolbers as “border aggressors”, some of whom were “deceived” and “some are also part of the” smuggling mafia “or” anti-security mafia “.
